THE BUYER’S FAVOURITE HOME TEXTILES
Sara Højgaard Rasmussen thinks about velour, jute, cotton and fleece when she is awake and dreams about it at night… She is our category manager within home textiles like cushions, table linen, throws and rugs and as there is a new assortment in JYSK, we have asked her to share her favourites with us. “In a short while, our outdoor life will start again, so I have chosen three different products that are all useful both in your living room and on your patio or balcony,” Sara starts.
“BLOMME is a new tablecloth in our assortment. It is available in a round and a square version and in grey, green and yellow. Especially the latter has a very summery look that will brighten up your day. It has a subtle, classic pattern, a little bit like herringbone or the veins in a leaf. But most important to all those busy homeowners out there is that it is wrinkle free,” Sara points out with a smile.
BLOMME matches the colours in the SCANDINAVIAN SENSE collection and fits perfectly on some of our best selling round dining tables, for example RINGSTED.
“GLORIOSA is made out of jute and with this rug under the coffee table or dining table, and I find that the home gets an extremely modern and relaxed expression. Jute is a quick growing plant so the rug is biodegradable and can be recycled. You can use it both inside and outside. It is available in 140x200 cm and 160x230 cm,”
“The FJELLFIOL floor cushions or back cushions have a cover of cotton velour with a more matte finish than the usual velour quality. I really like the Nordic look of the cotton velour but equally important is the feather filling of the cushion that enables FJELLFIOL to maintain its shape for a long time. You can use FJELLFIOL for sitting on the floor, as a back cushion when you are reading in bed, or outside on your patio or your balcony. It is available in grey and green and the cover is washable,” Sara finishes before she leaves us with thoughts of long summer nights on our minds.
The new products are available in our online assortment from January 26th.
